Threads zum Thema powerpc

Powerpc - moin, mein standrechner zuhause hat den geist aufgegeben, und dachte wenn schon neue kiste ob ich mir mal nicht was anderes leisten sollte, da linux ja auch auf anderen architekturen läuft (sparc, powerpc, arm, ...). ist so was sinnvoll?
