Sorry aber funktioniert wieder nicht -.-

hab mal gegoogelt und das scheint bei asus laptops oft der fall zu sein dass das booten von nem usb nich richtig funktioniert.

Muss ich vllt statt FAT --> FAT32 verwenden?
als weitere optionen gibts noch exFAT und NTFS.

Ich hab selber einen Asus Laptop und boote von ner M2 Speicherkarte mit USB Adapter.

Puppy fordert FAT, also das kanns nicht sein.
Ist das ein U3 USB Stick ?

und ja hab ne USB MAUS dran...wenns an dem liegt spring ich ausm fenster :eek: An die hab ich nich gedacht sorry...

wenn ich ESC drücke hab ich drei Optionen. Mit festplatte booten, CD oder eben wenn ich einen USB eingesteckt habe mit USB booten

Dann schalte mal den PC aus, steck die Maus ab, schließ den USB Stick an ....

Musste halt für 5 min das Touchpad verwenden :D

Also lag (leider) nich an der USB Maus...
nach wie vor kommt "Invalid System Disk".

Achso zu vorherigen fragen :
natürlich habe ich VORHER formatiert und dann Puppy drauf ^^ ganz hängengeblieben bin ich ja nun nicht :D

und es ist kein U3 USB Stick soviel ich weiß..ist n 512mb USB den ich von der Uni hier geschenkt bekommen habe.

Okay, ich will jetzt auch nicht riskieren, den MBR zu fixen, ohne eventuell ein Bootbares Medium hier zu haben.

Hast du den USB Stick formatiert bevor du Puppy darauf gespielt hast.
Welche Optionen hast du, wenn du die F2 Taste drückst ( beim Booten ) ?
Ist das ein U3 USB Stick ?

Ja vorher formatiert.

Wenn ich f2 drücke kommt die BIOS Setup Utility...
da gibts dann mehrere Überpunkte unter anderem "Advanced" und "Boot"
Unter Boot kann ich beispielsweise die "Boot device Priority" festlegen

wenn du alle optionen wissen möchtest müsst ich mal schnell schaun und die aufschreiben.

Und wie schon beantwortet is KEIN U3 USB

Dann hab ich das wohl überlesen.
Ich les mich gerade im Puppy Tutorial ein.

Versuchen wir mal den USB Stick auf Fat32 zu konvertieren und danach Puppy neu aufzuspielen.

Unter BOOT is noch unterpunkt
"Onboard LAN Boot ROM"
"Boot Setting Config" (kann man aber nur einstellen ob "Quiet BOOT" ja oder nein

die anderen optionen sind unwichtig wie Security --> Master Passwort einstellen...

also dann versuch ichs mal mit FAT32 ...

Hat auch mit FAT32 nicht funktioniert...

Auch wenns jetzt blöd klingt, hast du nen anderen USB Stick zur Hand.
