die beta1-version von mandrake 10.1 wurde veröffentlicht.

viele neuerungen hat (und wird) mandrake ab diesem release erfahren, die gravierendste änderung ist sicherlich die umstrukturierung der verzeichnisse (die verzeichnisse Mandrake und Mandrake/RPMS wird es in dieser form nicht mehr geben, eine andere unterteilung wurde gewählt):

weitere neuerungen: die iso-files sind über torrent, aber auch über einige bereits umgestellt mirrors (deren zahl bald ansteigt) verfügbar.

Known bugs

Kernel 2.6.8.1 breaks CD burning as a user ; again this kernel panic at the end of installation, we are working on it.
It may be that the KDE configuration is not updated correctly between beta 1 and beta 2.
