Hmm... irgendwie hab ich Probleme mit dem Kernel. Ich hab das kompilieren und installieren genauso gemacht wie in der Anleitung von SelfLInux beschieben, aber zum Einen konnte ich keinen reboot mehr ausführen, und zum anderen konnte ich nicht zwischen Linux_old und Linux_new im Lilo wählen, obwohl ich die lilo.conf richtig editiert habe und danach auch /sbin/lilo als root ausgeführt habe.

Ich kenn die Anleitung von Self-Linux...sollte so im Normalfall eigentlich funktionieren. Hast Du keine weiteren Angaben...Meldungen beim booten etc.?

Auf dem ftp.rpmfind.net in /linux/Mandrake-devel/cooker/i586/Mandrake/RPMS findest Du 5 verschiedene kernel-...-2.4.22.0.7mdk-Rpm-Pakete.

standard...
