| Brief von der Telekom: Rechner versende Spam Hallo, der Vater eines Bekannten hat bereits den zweiten Brief von der Telekom bekommen, dass von seinem Anschluss aus Spammail versendet werde und sie ihm aus diesem Grund Port 25 gesperrt haben, bis er das Problem behoben hat. Es handelt sich um einen Rechner mit Vista, SP 2. Ich habe nun einmal Spybot (keine Funde), TrendMicro HouseCall Online-Virenscan (keine Funde) und anschliessend Antivir durchlaufen lassen, welches auch drei Funde machen konnte. Wegen schlechter Koordination (ich arbeite am betr. Computer via Teamviewer aus der Ferne), weiss ich allerdings nicht mehr, wie die Funde hiessen, kann aber das Logfile einsehen, dass mir aber persönlich leider nicht so viel sagt.. Nach mehrmaligen Scans und Rechnerneustarts, findet Antivir nun nichts mehr. Wegen der Tragweite des Problems (immerhin hat sich schon die Telekom beschwert) und weil man sich ja nie sicher sein kann, möchte ich nun mal in die Runde fragen, was ihr so meint. Ggf. wäre ich auch um eine gemeinsame Analyse mit Hi-JackThis oder wie auch immer mehr als dankbar. So weit, viele Grüße, trobot |

__________________danke für die schnelle Antwort. Der Besitzer ist etwas älter und kennt sich leider nicht so mit Computern aus und hat meine Hilfe erbeten. Ansonsten Surfen, Office, Emails (diese verwaltet er über "Windows Mail"). Ich habe schon die "beliebten" Power Point Präsentationen gesehen, die sich Leute gern einander schicken, zumindest scheint also in dieser Hinsicht eine gewisse "soziale Aktivität" zu bestehen. Könnte es sein, dass er sich auf diesem Wege etwas eingefangen hat? |

Ich denke, er hat die üblichen Recovery CDs, die man oft beim Kauf eines Laptops dazu bekommt. Können wir die benutzen, um Windows wieder sicher herzustellen? Gibt es beim sichern der Daten etwas zu beachten? Können z.B. Dokumente einfach auf einen USB-Stick kopiert werden und wie sicher ist das? Wie verteilt sich denn so ein Root Kit, wo könnte er es herhaben, ist ein eingesteckter USB-Stick oder eine gebrannte CD gefährdet, bin ich gefährdet, wenn ich mich über Teamviewer mit dem verseuchten Computer verbinde usw., was ist mit Leuten, die von der Person Emails empfangen haben? Worauf soll der betroffene in Zukunft achten, um soetwas möglichst zu vermeiden/vorzubeugen? | Brief von der Telekom: Rechner versende Spam ok, vielen Dank erstmal. Ich denke, wir werden nun im Lauf der nächsten Tage/Woche erstmal Windows neu machen (lassen) müssen. Er wird dies, da ich nicht vor Ort bin, in einem Computergeschäft machen lassen. Beim Einrichten des Systems werde ich wieder über Teamviewer behilflich sein.. Wenn es soweit ist, werde ich nochmal hier Nachfragen, wie man die Lücken schliessen/sich besser schützen kann, nehme in dieser Hinsicht aber auch jetzt schonmal Tipps entgegen. Standardmässig installiere ich immer AVG Free, Spybot, Windows Service Packs, falls vorhanden, und das ein oder andere Privacy-Addon in Firefox, dass den unbedarften Nutzer beim Surfen vor keine Probleme stellt. Die Hilfe hier ist wirklich toll, muss ich nochmal ausdrücklich sagen, vielen Dank dafür. |
