Habe gerade mit einem Virenscanner gearbeitet. Schock - lexbacc.exe - was ist das, mir wird angezeigt, das es ein trojaner ist, aber was macht er.....??

Troj/Lexup-A is a downloader Trojan which could download potentially malicious Trojans or adware from a specific website.

The downloaded files are stored in the Windows System folder and Troj/Lexup-A adds an entry under:

HKLM\Software\Internet Explorer Updater\update

for each downloaded file.

In order to run automatically when Windows starts up Troj/Lexup-A copies itself to the file lexbac.exe in the Windows system folder and adds the following registry entry:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\
Internet Explorer Updater
