Beim Kontrollieren meiner laufenden Programme ist mir ein Programm "Save.exe" aufgefallen, das normalerweise nicht zu den laufenden Prozessen gehört.
Pfad: c:\Programme\save\save.exe
Größe: 221.696 Bytes
Datum: 22.07.2002
Beim Aufrufen des Internet Explorer wollte das Programm ins Internet.
Da ich normalerweise nur K-Meleon benutze, ist mir das bisher nie aufgefallen. Nach ersten Erkundungen halte ich das Programm für etwas Spyware-Ähnliches. Jedoch: AdAware meldet nichts. (Und KAV auch nicht.)

Weiß da jemand was genaueres?

Also ich habe hier auf der Seite gerade mal geschaut, da gibt es keine save.exe aber eine SaveNow.exe. Diese Datei wäre Spyware und ist beim Kazaa Desktop dabei .

Ich suche "save.exe" (SaveNow.exe ist mir schon ein Begriff und wird auch von AdAware gefunden).

Ich habe mal ein bißchenim Internet geschnüffelt.
Gefunden habe ich nur den folgenden Text in Zusammenhang mit Spyware:

Leider ist mein Englisch nicht so gut.
Hast Du die DAtei mal mit der rechten Maustaste angeklickt und nachgesehen was unter Eigenschaften steht?
Von der Bezeichnung her könnte die Datei auch zu einem Backup-Programm oder Spiel gehören. Hast Du irgend etwas in dieser Richtung deinstalliert und dieses ist noch ein Rest davon?

Wenn es sich bei deiner Datei um neuere Spyware handelt, kann AdAware die gar nicht finden, da es sie nicht kennt.

AdAware ist schon lange veraltet, am besten du nimmst SpybotSD , das ist am neusten Stand ausserdem kannst du bei dem Programm die Updates automatisch runterladen lassen.

Hmmm, ich habe keine der genannten Software neuinstalliert, also weder irgendwelche Backup-Software noch den mir unbekannten "radlight media player".

Ich habe das ganze jetzt mal verschoben und aus der registry den entsprechenden autostart-eintrag entfernt. Bisher läuft das System normal weiter.

Hat noch jemand eine Idee, wo der Murks herkommt?

@cyberfred: Danke! Einen Auszug dieses Textes hatte ich bereits auf einer Website gefunden. Ich vermute auch, dass es sich um dieses Programm handelt. Nur über den Installationsweg bin ich mir noch nicht im Klaren. Ich definitiv keinen solchen Lizenzbedingungen zugestimmt.
Ich hab's jetzt einfach entfernt.

@realistic: Hmm, habe ich nicht installiert, kenne ich nicht mal und die Dateigröße stimmt nicht -&gt; eher unwahrscheinlich (und im Link fehlt ein "-" )

Save könnte im Schlepptau eines P2P Clients gewesen sein. Putz das Ding von der Platte und Ruh ist. Übrigens dürfte in den nächsten Tagen/Wochen nicht nur ein Ad-Aware Update, sondern ein ganz neues Programm kommen. Eigentlich sollte es sogar ein "Weihnachtsgeschenk" werden...

Ich habe jetzt herausgefunden, wo diese save.exe herkommt! Bitamster hatte recht, ein p2p Client, und zwar Bearshare. Hatte es gerade nochmal installiert und nach dem rebooten meldete mir TC einen save.exe Eintrag in der Registry.
