| KAV 4.5 beta Hallo, die KAV 4.5 beta ist auf dem FTP-Server zu haben ftp://downloads1.kaspersky-labs.com/beta/KAVWindows/ Hat das schon mal einer probiert? Geht das mit dem vorhandenen KAV4-Keyfile? Bei Rokop ist ja schon ein Test in Aussicht gestellt... Die Version 4.5 soll ja eine neue und stärkere Unpacking-Engine als die 4.0 haben...

[img]smile.gif[/img] Die hauptsächlichen Veränderungen haben offensichtlich _unter_ der Oberfläche stattgefunden, sprich, wie du schon andeutest, in der Engine selbst. Allerdings meldet der Monitor (der Scanner aber schon) der Beta-Version offensichtlich keine Malware in einem (zip-)Archiv ( http://eicar.com ). Ausgiebig hab' ich's mir aber noch nicht angeschaut, sondern nur mal so nebenbei. Scanoptionen: Alle Dateien, Archive, (auch ScriptChecker installiert). |

__________________PRODUCT IMPROVEMENTS 1. On-access scanning performance improved significantly. A new state-of-the-art technology IChecker ™ is integrated into the Monitor. That allows files to be checked even faster. Our internal testing shown that on-access scanning is about two times faster than in 4.0.9. 2. A new implementation prevents deadlocks from occuring. We did some improvements to eliminate deadlocks and our internal testing shows that they are no longer present. BUGS FIXED: 1.Monitor: Modified settings of the Monitor program started from Control Center come into effect within several minutes (approx. 2 min) after the corresponding command was applied. During this time period the Monitor program may ignore calls to infected files. 2.Scanner: Incorrect curing (2 passages) of the infected TORAJA-B.XS1 and TORAJA-B.XS2 files. 3. Monitor: The anti-virus doesn’t overwrite Boot-sector (MBR on the hard drive) after it has been disinfected. The report file doesn’t contain any data about this operation. 4.Report Viewer: RV should be enabled to open the report files ONLY. 5.Monitor: AutoCad works improperly under Win9x when Monitor running. 6.Monitor: The problem with the long path and system names 7.Monitor: The problem with StrongDisk Pro 3.0 8.Updater: When Updater starts alone the wrong message about incorrect program operating occurs 9.MailChecker: If the message had plaintext body and didn't have corresponding Html body then erroneous situation occurred. As a result the program corrupted message body. 10.MailChecker: Error occured when reading embedded message. KNOWN ISSUES IN BETA: 1. Under WinNT(2k-XP) in some circumstances deinstallation routine fails to completely remove our driver from the system. That shouldn't lead to any problems after deinstallation of the product, but will cause errors on next installation. Symptoms are as follows: installation completes, but monitor fails to start properly and error message is displayed to the user. WORKAROUND: Remove the driver manually: Remove the reference to the driver from the registry: Start regedit.exe Go to key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services Remove the entire key named KLIF Remove klif.sys file from the Windows\System32\Drivers directory. Reboot the system and try to reinstall the product 2. The first boot after product installation is much longer than usual (on some machines) Please be patient and wait until the system completely starts. We are working on this issue, but it isn't solved yet. Should you encounter very long starts, please inform us with the technical details about your system configuration. 3. After detection of a virus in a locked file, the product proposes to reboot in order to disinfect virus (or delete a file). If the user chooses to reboot immediately and they have opened FAR window then sometimes the system fails to terminate FAR application and reports of incorrect KAV Scanner termination. The error occurs occasionally. This leads to some inconvenience to the user but doesn't affects normal work. 4. If during on-demand scanning after displaying of disinfect dialogue user promptly stops scanning, the scanner will become unavailable until the next reboot. The error occurs only if user clicks on this too fast and is not in line with expected user behaviour. |
